Certificate of Registration
The present certificate confirms, through hashcode technologies (SHA 256), TimeStamping (UTC standard provided by the BIPM - Bureau International des Poids et Mesures), and Digital Signature, that the above-indicated person has declared themselves as the author of the aforementioned work. This certificate is in compliance with: Berne Convention (INTL), Metre Convention (INTL), Law 9.610 (BR), WIPO Copyright Treaty (INTL), US Copyright Law (US), UCC Geneva (INTL), and other relevant legislation regarding Copyright Law of member countries of the Berne Convention (INTL) and the Metre Convention (INTL). Any inconsistencies regarding the authorship of the aforementioned work are the sole responsibility of the declarant.

§ 1. If the violation consists of total or partial reproduction, with the direct or indirect intent of profit, by any means or process, of an intellectual work, interpretation, performance, or phonogram, without the express authorization of the author, performer, or producer, as the case may be, or of those who represent them: (Text given by Law No. 10,695, of 07/01/2003)

§ 2. The same penalty as in § 1 is incurred by anyone who, with the direct or indirect intent of profit, distributes, sells, exhibits for sale, rents, introduces into the country, acquires, hides, or keeps in storage, original or copy of an intellectual work or phonogram reproduced in violation of copyright, performer's rights, or producer's rights, or rents an original or copy of an intellectual work or phonogram without the express authorization of the rights holders or their representatives. § 3. If the violation consists of offering to the public, through cable, fiber optic, satellite, waves, or any other system that allows the user to select the work or production to receive it at a time and place previously determined by the demand formulator, with the direct or indirect intent of profit, without express authorization, as the case may be, of the author, performer, producer of phonogram, or those who represent them: (Text given by Law No. 10,695, of 07/01/2003)

§ 4. The provisions of §§ 1, 2, and 3 do not apply when it comes to exceptions or limitations to copyright or related rights, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 9,610, of February 19, 1998, nor to the copying of an intellectual work or phonogram, in a single copy, for the private use of the copier, without direct or indirect profit.
